The images at the left represent global data products that were taken by the Earth Radiation Budget Experiment (ERBE).  The data show a one year average (from 1985-1986) of the cloud forcing on incoming shortwave radiation, outgoing longwave radiation, and net radiation.  The colors represent ERBE's measurements in watts per meter squared.
